Richard is a part-time freelance writer and has had several small game articles in the USA and Canada published. He has been published in the following magazines: Fur-Fish-Game, Shotgun Sports, Ontario Out Of Doors and Western Sportsman to name a few -- and now the Rabbit Hunting Online Magazine.

Where Richard lives in Western Canada he hunts two species of rabbit (hares), the white tailed jackrabbit and the snow shoe hare, although he grew up in Ontario hunting cottontails with a beagle named Tex. He's hunted rabbits with rifles, shotguns, bows, black powder guns and once he took a swing at a cottontail with a shovel. :o)

Richard will offer his experiences with black powder and he tends to take a different approach to most subjects. He has been involved with some interesting reloading projects turning some big game cartridges into rabbit guns.
